There will be a quiz on functions including definitions tomorrow. We will be discusssing x intercepts, y intercepts, zeros of a function, intervals of increase and decrease. Make sure all classwork and homework has been completed as a homework check will be occuring as well.
Exploring Functions with Fiona packet was turned in today. Each section was presented by individual groups. Bring your parent functions sheet to class tomorrow.
We completed solving algebraic ratio and proportion problems. Homework is 17-40 on page 646. Expect a quiz on Friday. We also turned in 11-11, 11-14, 11-15, and 11-16 as homework quiz 6. I have attached 11-18 from yesterday for those who didn't receive it. Download alg_ib_11.18 proportions.doc

Today we worked on finding the LCM. Tomorrow we will use the LCM to find a least common denominator. See the attachment for today's classwork.
Today we worked on factoring with a GCF. See the attachment for the worksheet done in class. We are due to have a quiz on Thursday or Friday covering factoring with the GCF and grouping.
