GPS Algebra Grades will not be completed until January 16!

The current news is that the EOCT scores will not be available until 1/16/2012 or later.  Our grades will remain INCOMPLETE until then.  I am so sorry for this inconvenience.  Wheeler has no recourse but to wait for the scores from the state.

GPS Algebra

We have a Unit 6 Test instead of a final this week.  Here is the notes for today on Piecewise Function Evaluations:  Download Piecewise Functions - Evaluated  The problems on the notes were the classwork for today along with a few absolute value equations and inequalities.  You can look over your notes on Absolute Value, Correlation, and Lines that "fit the data".  All this will be on our test.  The extra credit assignment on quadratic regression for the city weather scatterplot is due the day of the test....Wednesday for 2nd block and Thursday for 3rd block.

GPS Algebra

On Thursday, we gathered data on student's height and armspans, graphed it as a scatterplot, and "eyeballed" the line that best fits the data.  The homework was a short set of 6 practice questions that isn't digital.  Keep studying for the EOCT--at least 15 minutes every day!

GPS Algebra

We are still in Unit 5 after the break.  The EOCT is Wednesday, 12/14, and Thursday, 12/15.  Each day is a 60-minute test--it is a marathon!  An excellent site to review all standards is www.usatestprep.com.  The students have the school code and password (we can't publish this on our blog).  They need to create an account using an email address and their student ID number.  It reviews all subject areas.
