Summer Assignments for Fall and Spring 2009-10

Dear Students,

Here a few things you need to know:

1. Fall/Spring students you must complete the summer assignment and hand it to me first day back to school 8/10/09.

2. Please purchase (used or new)/ borrow one of the following AP Prep Books; Barron's or Cliff Notes for AP Biology

3. If you have not checked out a workbook from me, you can use one of the prep books to complete the assignment.

4. In the next few days I will send an 'invite' to join google-groups. This will help you to access resources for the assignment.

5. Please read the assignment in its entirety and if you have any questions, e-mail me right away.

6. Enjoy your summer with your family and friends, take care of yourself and stay safe.

Welcome! This semester we will be communicating via electronic blackboard. My blog is linked to blackboard. I will be posting reminder/time-lines etc on the blog. We will conduct review sessions as well as live chat sessions on blackboard.

Many of you may have already used this..if you have not ..no worries you will learn:)

Our class will consist of labs, classroom discussions (fishbowl discussions) and active lecture.

Reading and being ready for discussions is a major part of your homework.
