Creating a blog

Every photo student will need to create a blog to submit their digital and traditional images.

Most of the students are using a google based blog
Here is a link to blogger.

http://www.blogger.com/home

After you set up your blog, upload a photographic image, make sure you create the artist and link to their web site, then email me the url to your blog.

Multiple Exposure Film

Triple Vision:

  • Set your cameras ASA to 800.
  • Shoot a roll of film.  Keep the camera either horizontal or vertical during the entire roll. AVOID images of white or things especially the sky.
  • Roll the film back into the cassette like you would at the end of shooting a roll. LISTEN CAREFULLY, when you hear the leader click off the take up reel, open the camera. If you open your camera and the leader is completely in the cassette take that film to a Wolf or other camera/film processing store and ask them to retrieve the leader.
  • Reload the same film in your camera and shoot the film again. This time take portraits of someone, they should wear black or a dark color.
  • Rewind the film or take the the roll back to a Wolf's or other camera/film processing store and ask them to retrieve the leader.
  • Reload it for the third time and shoot again.
  • You will run the same film through your camera 3 times.
  • Try to make sure that you orient the camera in the same direction throughout the assignment (all horizontal or all vertical).
  • It some time work well to shoot the first round of people, the second of textures, the third of people again.

Film is due MONDAY.
Don't forget to email me your blog url.
