Presentations are due Wednesday and your final test will be at 8:25 Friday morning.

EOCT results are in...
Congratulations to each student for scoring a 91 or better on the EOCT! Our pizza lunch will be next Wednesday.
Our chapter 10 test on circles will be Thursday and portfolios are due Monday. These will not be accepted late. Presentations will be done Monday and Wednesday with a final test over the information presented on Friday.
I will begin collecting textbooks on Friday. Pleawe clean out all papers and try to erase pencil marks.

Perfect Attendance for the EOCT
Thanks to each of you for trying your best on the EOCT Wednesday and Thursday. Sorry I was out sick Friday but I am planning on bringing breakfast on Monday.
On Monday we will be beginning our final unit on Geometry. If you have any missing work for the semester, it must be in by Friday, May 16.
Possible Change in Schedule Monday
Thank you to everyone for having perfect attendance during EOCT testing. I apologize for having to be out Friday but I am feeling much better and will see everyone on Monday! Hopefully, the sub passed on my message that the mathematician report will be due on TUESDAY not Monday. (See your portfolio guidelines for details) The final portfolio is due next Monday 5/19. Our chapter 10 test will be this week--we can decide a day on Monday. I will also be giving the guidelines for the final presentations on Monday. These will be due the final week of school.
Finally, we are having some special visitors in the Magnet Building on Monday and they will be using our room for at least 1st and 2nd block--maybe 3rd. So...if the meeting goes into 3rd block, we may need to have class in another classroom or go to A Lunch. We will post a sign telling you where to go.
Have a good weekend and do something nice for MOM!

Magnet Geometry
The EOCT is over! Tomorrow we will discuss our end of year projects and work on final preparations for the semester portfolio.
We still have work to do..a chapter 10 test, a portfolio and a final presentation.

Homework for Monday 5/5
Complete the chapter 1-12 review sheet (orange sheet) that you received on Friday and finish the chapter 10 C "test" if you did not finish in class today.
Study the segment theorems...pop quiz Tuesday?????

End of Course Test Review
Our EOCT will be next Wednesday and Thursday. Students will be given review work each night to complete for homework. Students will need a calculator for the test and a #2 pencil.
Progress reports will be sent out tomorrow. Please sign and return by Friday.
Monday 5/5 : Three photographs due for portfolio. (One example of geometry in nature, art and architecture)
